Vandaag hielden we de laatste in een reeks van ondernemersdagen voor het MKB in samenwerking met Van Oers Accountancy & Advies. Een inspirerende dag voor ondernemers om te laten zien wat er om ons heen allemaal aan het veranderen is op het gebied van online. Een ijzersterke opening van Martin van Dijke die de aanwezigen, bijna 100 in totaal, feliciteerde met het feit ze de tijd durfden te nemen om te investeren in zichzelf en op deze middag aanwezig te zijn. 
Immers een ondernemer heeft het altijd druk waarbij juist dat kleine verschil wordt gemaakt door ook te investeren in marktkennis. Dennis Klasen toonde in samenwerking met een Twinapps partner de dashboard oplossing die o.a. bij meer dan 75 McDonalds vestigingen is geïmplementeerd. Indrukwekkend blijft het om te zien hoe slechts één administratieve kracht in samenwerking met Van Oers de administratie verwerkt van maarliefst 6 McDonalds vestigingen! Als afsluiter de oprichter van Twinfield, André Kwakernaat, die een inspirerend verhaal hield over die ene constante, verandering.
Naast de boeiende en interessante sessies vind ik het altijd erg leuk om in contact te staan met de ondernemers zelf. Tijdens de pauzes en borrel achteraf is daar dan ook voldoende tijd voor. Eens aanhoren wat er nu daadwerkelijk speelt, wat houdt de ondernemer dagelijks bezig en hoe kijken zij aan tegen het voeren van een online administratie. Zo kwam ik in gesprek met een ondernemer die op het punt stond om een besluit te nemen voor de aanschaf van een Unit4 oplossing. Een combinatie van softwarelicenties en de daarbij behorende computer- en serverapparatuur waarbij alleen al de softwarelicenties een waarde vertegenwoordigde van 30.000 euro, jawel dertigduizend euro. Tel daar de benodigde computerapparatuur bij op en je raakt de tel kwijt. Daarbij nog niet eens opgeteld de zorgen die de ondernemer op zijn hals haalt met het installeren en onderhouden van ingewikkelde computerapparatuur in het kantoorpand. Nu is het misschien te kort door de bocht om te stellen dat met een Compleet abonnement van Twinfield a 75 euro per maand alles is opgelost maar het komt er wel aardig bij in de buurt. Een gelijkwaardige oplossing heeft wellicht enkele Twinapps partners nodig die realtime koppelingen maken via het internet met Twinfield. Maar goed, dat is het dan wel. Geen gedoe met onderhoudskosten, in dit geval 3.000 euro per jaar, en de zorg voor de IT infrastructuur. Ik realiseer me plotsklaps dat ik slechts enkele ondernemers heb gesproken van de bijna 1,5 miljoen MKB’ers die er zijn waarvan er misschien wel honderduizenden zijn die niet beter weten dan het aankopen van software en hardware. Voor de ondernemers die dit lezen: STOP met het aanschaffen van software. SalesForce heeft hier eens een speciaal logo voor ontworpen zoals in dit artikel te zien. Het is te duur, niet meer van deze tijd en neemt veel veborgen kosten en risico’s met zich mee. Wat moet die man blij zijn geweest met het bezoek aan de ondernemersdag, 30.000 euro besparen in slechts een halve dag. De felicitaties van Martin bij de opening van de middag waren dus terecht op zijn plaats!
