Practice what you preach: Twinfield start met Salesforce

Twinfield timmert hard aan de weg, niet alleen aan de voorkant maar ook aan de achterkant van haar bedrijfsvoering. Cloudcomputing speelt hierin een belangrijke rol. Wij zijn grote voorstanders van het web-touch bedrijfsmodel waarbij klant- en leverancierscontacten met name via het internet en dus online verlopen. Of het nu om verkoop, marketing, ondersteuning of financiën gaat, we proberen het zo in te richten dat mensen zaken online met ons kunnen afhandelen. Op die manier zijn we als bedrijf 24×7 bereikbaar en zijn we in staat de markt altijd van dienst te zijn. In dit kader is afgelopen week Salesforce in gebruik genomen in samenwerking met de implementatiepartner CRMwaypoint. Net zoals Twinfield levert Salesforce uitsluitend applicaties via het internet, in dit geval CRM (Customer Relationship Management). Zoals het woord aangeeft een omgeving van waaruit alle klant contacten worden beheerd en gemanaged. Het gaat alleen veel verder dan dat. Vanuit marketing is het voor ons een mooi stuk gereedschap om de effectiviteit van marketing campagnes te meten. Twinapps partners maken koppelingen met Twinfield en zo zijn er ook partners die koppelingen maken met Salesforce allemaal verzameld in de AppExchange. CRMwaypoint heeft op die manier een koppeling gerealiseerd tussen Twinfield en Salesforce rondom de verwerking van contracten.

Deze week zijn wij tevens een proef gestart met de Twinfield online brochureportal. Een online plek waar accountants inloggen en een set aan Twinfield brochures direct kan personificeren. Logo’s, steunkleuren en zelfs stukken tekst worden naar eigen wens aangepast. Eenmaal gereed wordt een hoge resolutie .pdf afgeleverd die het kantoor kan gebruiken voor electronische distributie of kan laten drukken. Het betreft brochures rondom online boekhouden, speciale acties die lopen bij Twinfield en zelfs advertentiemateriaal. Meerdere services vanuit Twinfield komen binnenkort online wat aangeeft dat we daadwerkelijk doen waar we voor staan: ervoor zorgdragen dat we optimaal bereikbaar zijn en altijd online met elkaar kunnen samenwerken. Niet alleen op het gebied van online boekhouden maar op allerlei gebieden. Deze ervaring nemen wij mee in ons Vooruitstrevend Denken programma voor accountants die op haar beurt hiervan profiteren door dit vervolgens zelf toe te passen binnen de eigen organisatie. De amerikanen hebben daar een mooie uitdrukking voor: practice what your preach. SaaS (software as a service) en Cloud Computing zijn daar ook mooie voorbeelden van. Alle bedrijfsprocessen verplaatsen zich richting ‘the cloud’ en als ‘building blocks’ worden ‘best of breed’ toepassingen met elkaar realtime en online geïntegreerd. Klinkt amerikaans maar duik voor de aardigheid eens in de AppExchange van Salesforce en probeer dit eens toe te passen op je eigen sector, branche of bedrijf. Wellicht is dat wat we bedoelen met accountancy 2.0?
